Belak

Belak is the unseen master of the realm beneath the Sunless Citadel — known to The Black Puddings only through intermediaries, rumor, and Vierath’s solo “negotiations.”

What the party knows:

• The goblins of the Citadel called the depths beyond the great hole “Belak’s realm,” and it is where the missing Hucrele twins were sent.
• The healing apples — one pure red, one pure white each year — come from Belak, passed up to the goblins.
• The bugbear guarding the descent answers to “da boss.”
• Vierath spent days below as a guest-captive and returned calling Belak “a great guy”; a deal was struck, terms accepted by Count Vurnor Leng, and the white apple delivered (Session 13).
