Kerowyn Hucrele
Lady Kerowyn Hucrele is the merchant matriarch of Bastion — a shrewd, well-connected venturer whose mercantile network touches most trade moving through the town.
She became patron to The Black Puddings after her twin heirs — Sharwyn, a mage, and Talgen, a fighter — disappeared into the Sunless Citadel alongside the paladin Sir Bradford. When the survivors of the first expedition posted jade figurines for sale, she bought the lot and summoned Vierath to discuss the business of returning to the Citadel (Session 6).
Patronage
- Guarantees fair-price purchase of treasure recovered from the Citadel, and helps convert coin into gear.
- Provides a cart and driver for expeditions (long driven by Lirra the peltmonger).
- Paid a bounty for the return of the Hucrele signet ring (Session 8) — recovered from the goblin chief, along with word that one twin was killed and the others sent “down to Belak’s realm.”
- Arranged introductions when needed, from apothecaries to brokers.
