The Talenta Plains are a broad, fertile country constantly fought over by Caernathi peasants, Sairan settlers, and Valerian raiders — which is why they are better known as the “Bloody” Talenta Plains. Great herds of tribex roam the grass. In ages past, a people no taller than a child are said to have ridden tamed thunder-lizards across the whole expanse.
The plains are held to lie close to other worlds — to Lamannia, Thelanis, and Dolurrh — and some say the barriers between planes wear thin here, letting outside powers reach through and work their will.
