Casino
Casino is a retired construct adventurer living at Teryk, and a member of Pashlatine’s Company in its day. His speech is stilted, and sometimes slips into garbled noise mid-sentence.
Count Roland Varnel pointed The Black Puddings toward him as a man who is good with maps (Session 16). He can be contacted at the Traveler’s Inn.
The ring
Casino runs the local fighting ring — nonlethal bouts, staged in the forum and advertised by flyers posted there. He referees personally and satisfies himself that nobody is cheating with undeclared magic.
Vezhka took a fight here against a legionary named Attius and earned the name “One-Punch” in a single blow. Gladiators of varying quality can be met around the forum on fight days, and Casino will invite a promising stranger to step into the ring himself.
