Kallas Meteron
Guildmaster Kallas Meteron heads the Merchant Guild of Vedycaer from the Merchant Guildhouse, and through it controls licensed trade across the city — the Emporium, the auctions, the brokerage, and the guild bank. He is a man in his fifties, a merchant’s merchant, and an exemplar of uncompromising greed; he likes to boast that he funded his first caravan at sixteen by selling his own parents into indenture. He wears a gold ring on every finger.
Dealing with him
Meteron respects coin and cunning and little else. He will deal fairly enough with those who can make it worth his while, and has no patience for those who cannot. Approval of a guild-bank account, a licensing question, or a brokered sale all run through him or his people.
