Khoravar
The Khoravar are a mixed people, descended from both elves and humans, who over centuries in Corva have grown into a culture of their own rather than a mere blending of their parent races. Living between worlds, many make an art of crossing the divides between cultures.
The Khoravar did not arise from a single union, and their communities differ from one land to the next. In the borderlands they descend from the mingling of Lhazaaran and Caernathi peoples, and it is among these that the Seekers of Divinity — colloquially the “Blood of Vol cult” — are most at home: the Seekers hold that death is the end and Dolurrh oblivion, that any gods who exist are cruel, and that a spark of divinity lies in the blood, to be found within and used to transcend mortality. Khoravar of other lands trace other origins entirely. Two of the ancient Dragon Houses, for instance, formed around khoravar bloodlines: the House of Lyrandar, said to bear the Mark of Storm and once holding high sway in Valeria, whose heirs still train arcanists to master wave and wind; and the House of Medani.
