The Four Heroes

(No canonical in-world name yet — page title is a placeholder.)

Five centuries ago, four great heroes braved the dangers of the Mournland and discovered that the Lord of Blades had stumbled upon a true divine power — but sought to corrupt it for himself. They disabled him and paved the way for that divinity to shape itself freely, bringing about the birth of the goddess Numilvara. Sair remembers the four as its founding heroes.

Taaranoth

A dwarven wizard, specializing in divination magic.

Mondant

A cleric originally of the Dark Six, who converted to Numilvara in order to help bring her into being.

Father of the Reforged

A warforged once called Pilgrim, until he became Father of the Reforged.

Kothar son of Orn

The warrior Kothar son of Orn: slayer of Pothoc, student of Throden the Invisible Eye, riddler of the three stars, intimidator of the dead, scorpion slicer, shadow cleaver, Korranberg Chronicle field correspondent, kraken doom, seer of the unseen, the indomitable, vengeance sworn, the fiery terror, champion of Numilvara, fiendish hexer, patron of the Burning Horde, Keeper’s ruin, and savior of Eberron.

Kothar’s teacher Throden is remembered as the warrior-monk. A current monastic order called Throdenites still trains in Sair, naming the steps of its path for Kothar’s epithets.
